Casual Spring Time

Happy Sunday 🙂 Hope u all had a great weekend!

Today I’m not gonna show you one of my outfits, but a combination my sister was wearing today 😉 I loved the colors she combined. It looks casual but still classy.

 

First of all thanks to my lovely sister, Joana for letting me take the pictures 😉

As you can see she is combining a thin jacket (edc by Esprit) perfect for cold spring nights, with a simple white top. The cute scarf is adding some color to the outfit. She definitely made me want to get a jacket like this 😉

Hat Day!

Happy Saturday everyone 🙂 What are your plans for this beautiful day?

It’s super sunny here, but still a little windy. The perfect day to wear a hat!

 

I am wearing my hat from last year (Capelli New York) and sunnies (Ray Ban). I’m so happy it’s finally spring 🙂

For my make up I am trying t keep my eyes bright and open and my lips a little shiny.

Look Exclusive, Everyday!

I personally love today’s outfit, because it is so versatile. You can wear it to work and look chic and sophisticated, but you can also wear it to a bar or a date and look stylish and sexy.

Now, in the picture above I am wearing a studded blazer (H&M) and black pants ( Armani Exchange). Under the blazer I am wearing a white and gold shirt (Michael Kors). I match the gold color of the studs and the shirt with my golden pumps (Esprit). As for accessories, I chose my clutch from the last post (Alex.Max), a golden bangle (Capelli New York) and a leather, snake print belt with. Small golden earrings would look nice with this outfit, too.

In this picture, I exchanged my golden pumps for black ankle boots (Steve Madden). This small change makes the outfit look much more suitable for walking around in the city, while the pumps make it look like an outfit for the office or a dinner.

I want to show you some more tiny changes that make the outfit look completely different.

Here you can see me in my golden pumps again, and additionally I’m wearing a golden scarf ( Capelli New York). The scarf makes the entire outfit look more casual. Now it is the perfect look to meet some friends in a bar for a fun and casual night out.

Now one last variation 😉

Scarf and ankle boots together make it the perfect outfit for a shopping trip. Why not visit my beloved 5th Ave NY 😉

So don’t be scared to mix and match! Really often you can get much more out of one outfit than you’d expect. 😉

More Metallics!

Today I wanted to show you my new belt. It combines three different shades of silver and I love it for making any boring outfit look special 😉

 

Again this is a great way to wear metallics, which I can’t get enough of at the moment 😉 In the picture I’m wearing all black, but the belt also looks great with jeans,or colored pants. Just mix and match and find your favorite combination!

My Milan Outfit!

So I went to Milan on Saturday, to work at the MICAM, one of the biggest and most important shoe fairs. I saw many interesting shoes, but also outfits. Unfortunately I was not able to take pictures, because i was very busy. I still wanna show you one of  my outfits for Milan;)

 

I love this coat (Esprit) for the time between winter and spring, when the weather is not really cold, but also not really warm. The fabric is a mix of black and white stitches and looks very classy.

 

The entire outfit reflects those two colors. I was wearing a plane, but classy white shirt (Vero Moda) and black Jeggings (Armani Exchange) with black ankle boots (Steve Madden). As accessories I took a black scarf ( Capelli New York), a silver watch (D&G) and a gray-silver purse (Nine West). I kept my coat open.

Wear an outfit like that with the right amount of confidence, maybe some sunglasses, and you can be sure that you will be the center of attention;)

Work doesn’t mean boring!

Today i want to show you a dress, that i love to wear to work. It’s very classy and the perfect business outfit, but still not uptight. It is important to have a confident look, specially at work 😉

 

So this is the dress (H&M). It is not super short, but you might want to wear some black tights with it. It always depends on your job 😉

It is very comfortable, but doesn’t look like it. I love that! The black parts of the dress also help you look like you are in perfect shape. I combined the dress with some black ankle boots (Steve Madden) and a bold, silver watch (D&G). Some small pearl earrings help to complete the business look.

Other things you could combine with this dress are a black scarf, or a black jacket.

Even for an after work cocktail this dress is perfect.

Combining Black and Gold

One of the hottest metallic colors right now is gold. It is hard though, to use it in the right dose. If u chose to wear one main piece that’s all golden, make sure that the rest of the colors in your outfit won’t be too bold.

I’m gonna give you an idea of an outfit with some touches of gold.

Combining black and gold usually works very nicely. It’s sexy and mysterious, but also classy.The biggest golden piece in my outfit is the scarf (Capelli New York), which even has some black patterns.

I combined a black, woolen cardigan with golden studs along the zipper(Armani Exchange) with winter tights (Capelli New York). Those are extra warm and feel like fleece from the inside. The black leather boots i was wearing (Tory Burch) also have some nice golden chain elements. I love wearing them when it’s wet and muddy outside. The leather is super thick, so if u take care of it, it’s waterproof and almost indestructible 😉

In the second picture i added my leather and (fake) fur jacket (Guess by Marciano). The zippers are golden. I also chose a shiny black purse (Michael Kors) with golden zippers to combine with this outfit. Never be afraid of mixing different materials! 😉

In those two pictures once again the cardigan and of course the boots 😉

Shopping when it’s cold outside

First month of the new year is almost over, but it’s still damn cold outside! Best time to go hunting for some nice Cashmere sales! 😉

Today’s outfits are cute and amazing for a cold, shopping day.

 

I am wearing a super soft and warm cashmere dress (Vince) with black tights and my favorite, leather boots (handmade in Italy) . The first variation is the perfect window shopping outfit. It will keep you warm even outside of the stores.

 

Over the dress I am wearing a (fake) fur vest (Bershka), closed with a brown, braided leather belt (Vero Moda). The brown Speedy (Louis Vuitton) has the perfect size for an everyday use and looks very cute with this outfit.

The second variation doesn’t keep you as warm as the first one, so it’s the better choice for the mall 😉

 

The burgundy pashmina scarf (Capelli New York) matches the dark grey dress perfectly and gives it a touch of color.

Now one last time, the dress all by itself 🙂

Cocktails with the Girls

Today’s outfit is a mixture of sexy, cute and sophisticated and good for any fancy lounge or cocktail bar. There’s nothing better than a night out with the girls 😉

 

I combined a red, slightly shiny dress (Zara) with black, but see through tights (20 Den). They make your legs look super sexy. Black pumps like they are in the picture (Coach) or also black, high-heel sandals look amazing with this outfit. The small purse (no name) has a ring for each finger and is an amazing accessory. You can also find even fancier models like that from Alexander McQueen and other designers.

When it gets cold this dress is easily combined with a short jacket or blazer (Vila). For fancier events you could wear a little black fur instead of the jacket. A necklace or rings are not necessary. I would wear a cute bracelet though (Tiffany&Co).

 

Just try and see what you like 🙂 For this outfit you should stick with silver or black accessories, though.

My Outfit For a Fundraiser

Today I’m gonna show you an outfit i wore to a fundraiser. It had to be classy, but still matching my age. This what i came up with:

I wore a nice, tight, black dress (BCBG) with a little, furry jacket (BCBG). Those two looked very cute together. The dress was appropriate for the event, because it wasn’t short, but on the side of it was a zipper one could open and make the dress much more sexy, so I could still use it for other events. With this outfit I took a little purse (Capelli NY), that i could hang around myself, so it didn’t bother me while walking around.

 

As shoes i wore some black sandals (Chinese Laundry). They were not too high and very comfy, but still sexy.

 

Finally one picture of me wearing this awesome dress 🙂

 Unfortunately that was at a different event and i wasn’t wearing my furry jacket.
